The Dhampus Peak trek to the highest point rewards us with hair-raising perspectives on Annapurna I, II, III, IV. Nilgiri Mountain, Tilicho Peak, and numerous other snow-topped mountains. We will spend a brief timeframe at the culmination and afterward slide following a similar course back to base camp. Leaving our base camp prompts the intersection of another difficult high snow-capped pass – Dhampus Pass at 5200 meters. From the highest point of the pass, we drive through Yak Kharka to show up at Jomsom. Our important climbing experience closes with a beautiful departure from Jomsom to Pokhara and a drive back to Kathmandu.
