Originally from Georgia, Dr. Toreli graduated medical school in Tbilisi, Georgia and continued his education in America at SUNY Downstate Medical Center. There he was trained in general and interventional cardiology. Currently, he is a Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Lab at NYC Coney Island Hospital. Dr. Toreli is affiliated with SUNY Downstate, Maimonides Medical Center, and Staten Island Brooklyn hospitals. For our patients convenience, members of our staff are able to communicate in: Russian, Polish, Romanian, Hebrew, and Spanish.
