Music has been the biggest and most beautiful part of my life ever since I took my first piano lesson at the age of 5. From K-12 I studied piano, clarinet, saxophone, guitar, theory, and composition. My private music lessons laid the foundation for my higher education at Berklee School of Music where I graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BFA in Songwriting. Since graduation, I’ve done pretty much everything a freelance musician in NYC can do: performed solo and with bands at top singer/songwriter venues, sang jingles for television commercials, wrote and recorded hundreds of songs, and played live music at countless parties, bars, and restaurants. Through it all, I have given private music lessons. What started out as a way to make extra money while I pursued my career as an artist became a full-time job, and I have no regrets!
