Sexually transmitted diseases symptoms in females
Sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) can cause symptoms in females, although it's important to note that some STDs may not cause noticeable symptoms at all. Chlamydia, for example, is often asymptomatic in women, but when symptoms do occur, they can include abnormal vaginal discharge, pain or burning during urination, pelvic pain, and pain during sexual intercourse. Similarly, gonorrhea can also be asymptomatic in many women, but when symptoms are present, they may include increased vaginal discharge, painful urination, pelvic pain, and irregular bleeding between periods. Genital herpes, on the other hand, typically causes painful blisters or sores in the genital area, along with flu-like symptoms such as fever and body aches.
